Human Resource 101 – Presented by Rathika Sitsabaiesan

This learning lab is meant to introduce the incredible Rathika Sitsabaiesan to our network of B3 organizations throughout the province. Rathika Sitsabaiesan was elected to the Canadian parliament at 29 as the youngest Member of Parliament in the province of Ontario, and the first-ever of Tamil descent. As a child of war, daughter of an injured worker, and immigrant of colour in Canada.   Rathika has a lifetime of lived experiences dealing with injustices, both overt and covert discrimination. She has been an advocate and activist for many of these causes and has led the charge on increasing awareness and working towards the eradication of many of these injustices. Rathika Sitsabaiesan's Learning Lab will serve as an introduction to some human resources policies to ensure compliance in an Ontario organization while also exploring some of the newer realities in which we find ourselves as members of an ever-changing global society.
