About me

The Youth Engagement Assistant works in the Restorative Justice department to fulfill the requirements of the RYC program in a collaborative manner and  supports the Mentorship and Leaders of Tomorrow programs at various locations across Toronto.

Works primarily in the downtown east, the Youth Engagement Assistant  assists with Real Talk, Real Solution mentorship programs pre-project development, youth engagement, workshop facilitation development, supporting Real Talk sessions, gender specific engagement.

walk-in requests, administrative tasks, attend Court hearings, communicate with parents and families in a supportive manner, assist with case management.

    Niche is a 12-week program that provides youth with the necessary skills, education and experience to begin a career in the social services industry. Youth will be given theoretical education, practical experience and paid internships.
