As part of this year’s year-end efforts, we have also launched a “Year-end Hardship Fund” campaign where we are aiming to raise $10K before the end of the year.
We ask that both those in attendance and those who cannot attend this year, please consider donating. Every dollar supports the practical assistance we offer our members who are breaking through multiple barriers towards a better and brighter future.
Alleviating Hardship requires Practical Assistance supports:
When you choose to start a new path, it takes not just access to the actual training but also requires the support of social workers and support that allows for the barriers to be removed in order to ensure that they can participate and complete the programs that they register for. Practical assistance looks different for each person. It could be the need for support with transportation fees, support with childcare, assistance with social supports, help with rental subsidy, supplies including shoes, clothing, work supplies etc.,
When you dare to dream and know that it’s possible, which we at CEE believe, then anything is possible when you have the support around you. CEE is that support system for our members. Hardship is an ongoing barrier that many of our members need.
